Tax-Compliance
In small and medium-sized companies in particular, tax issues are not always considered with the necessary care. This is often due to a lack of specialist staff and a lack of awareness of the problem. Only when tax audits occur does it become clear what is really necessary and feasible in small and medium-sized companies, how the tax advisor can help and which tax and legal instruments are conceivable to avoid such risks in the future.
In addition, the introduction, implementation and compliance with certain measures in companies can lead to companies not being sanctioned by the state in the event of possible legal violations. For example, the introduction and compliance with an internal control system (ICS) in companies can be viewed as blameless by the tax authorities even if there are existing breaches of duty in the tax area.
The internal control system is particularly important with regard to future tax audits, because it shows which mistakes can be avoided, how controls can be applied sensibly, what seems important in advance of an audit and which consultants can be involved.
We advise our clients on:
- Business management of tax risks
- Finding out the reasons for setting up tax operational control systems (tax controlling)
- Introduction, implementation, practical design and compliance with tax compliance systems (tax CMS) in companies
